The foundation Blaise Pascal is a national foundation which founders are the CNRS (Insmi and Ins2i), Inria and the University of Lyon. The foundation Blaise Pascal promotes, fosters, and develops popularizations and disseminations of mathematics and computer science for all.
The foundation aims to change perception of mathematics and computer science and to attract young people to embrace scientific studies. The foundation closely pays attention to gender issues in these scientific domains and to the difficulties for disadvantaged public to embrace scientific careers. The foundation organizes 2 calls of projects per year, one for general activities in popularizing mathematics and computer science and the second one for clubs, traineeships and summer camps.
